The highly successful Irwindale Business Center, designed for the Trammell Crow Company by GAA Architects of Irvine, was recently praised by the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties' (NAIOP) study: Exceptional Industrial Projects: Beyond the Box as "an industrial project that redefines traditional perceptions and exemplifies trends that drive industrial development today."

Initially plagued by a series of unique drainage and grading challenges, the GAA design team transformed the former rock quarry into Trammell Crow's largest industrial project, a 2.2 million square foot complex, which is comprised of 18 concrete tilt-up buildings whose size ranges from 32,000 to 324,000 square feet.
